All the praises and thanks be to Allah Almighty for support and generosity to successfully conclude the ceremony. It was witnessed by a number of faculty members of Libyan universities, researchers, and experts from various scientific and research institutions in Libya. The ceremony started with the definition of the organization and its goals and its work teams. The program included talks by Dr. Salem Arbi president of the General Assembly, Dr. Ahmed Shelhi Chairman of the Board, and by the guest of honor Dr. Mohammed Ellid, a professor and senior researcher in the field of solid state physics. In addition, the program included two initiatives for development; the first in the field of education and the second about the organization's role in the implementation of the national project for environmental education. Special thanks goes to the invitees and guests as well as to the different media networks for covering the event.

Dr. Salem spoke about the importance of specialized and dedicated national figures to fill some of the gap in Libya. He spoke about the reason behind which the Assembly of Libyan Academics & Experts was established, which is to effectively contribute in the scientific, social and economic development in Libya.
Dr. Ahmed commenced his speech by speaking about the importance of NGOs in countries progress, then spoke about the ALAE structure and its philosophy of work, its mission and main objectives. An overview was given about members qualifications and their areas of expertise.

This initiative sums up in activating the environmental activities and employing the environmental education concepts in some of primary- and middle-level schools. The objectives thereafter is to create an environmental awareness philosophy and thus disseminate this environmental responsibility behavior among students.
