Final Recommendations

The first Libyan international water conference and exhibition was held in Tripoli in the period between 24-26 April 2018 under the slogan (Sustainability - Legislation - Techniques - Economics), to highlight this vital subject with objectivity and transparency. During the period of three days, 110 abstracts were presented, 42 of them were presented orally and covered nine discussion topics. The sessions were held in parallel in two halls to cover nine main topics. The sessions were attended by more than 1600 scholars and professionals interested in the subject of water, from various regions of Libya as well as from several Arab and foreign countries.

At the end of the conference, the conferees concluded a number of important recommendations. The general consensus is the need to deliver these recommendations to the Libyan institutions, especially decision makers, and to all devoted to raising the level of interest and the importance of the subject of water.
